Our Principal

Ms Lisa Moloney is a strong and compassionate educator, with exceptional experience from over 30 years in education in Australia and internationally.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Education in Environmental Science, a Graduate Diploma in Music Education, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and has undertaken advanced studies through the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Highly regarded amongst her peers for her leadership, Lisa is Chair of (IGSA), Deputy Chair and Chair of the Nomination Committee for the  Board of Trustees, Board member and Board observer at .

Prior to her appointment as Principal of 水多多导航 School in 2018, Lisa was Principal of St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School in Victoria, and before that she was Deputy Principal, Head of High School and Director of Strategic Planning at Radford College in Canberra.

Lisa began as a Geography and Science teacher. She spent time in USA working at COSI, which is one of the country’s leading science museums, before returning to Australia to take on educational leadership positions.

Lisa Moloney was appointed to the Round Square Board of Trustees in November 2020 and more recently moved to the role of Head of the Nominations Committee and a Deputy Chair.

Lisa was selected by majority vote of the Heads of School in the Australasia and East Asia Region and assumed the role of Round Square Regional Trustee for Australasia and East Asia. The Australasia and East Asia Region includes China, Indonesia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Mongolia, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Republic of Korea.

Each of the five Round Square Regions is represented on the Round Square Board by a Regional Trustee, who is the current Head of a Round Square Global Member School within the Region. Lisa has been appointed for an initial term of office of four years.

水多多导航 School was one of the first Australian girls’ schools to be accepted as members of Round Square, joining in 2002 as Regional members (now called Candidate-members) and then Global members from 2006.

Lisa first became involved with Round Square whilst Deputy Principal and Head of High School at Radford College Canberra where she was instrumental in Radford’s successful application to become a Round Square school. At 水多多导航 School, the Round Square IDEALS and Discovery Framework are embedded in all aspects of School life and, through the School’s Round Square Student Committee, all girls have the opportunity to be involved.

Under Lisa’s leadership students actively participate in exchange and Round Square conferences, and the process is underway to extend the Round Square approach into the Junior School. Lisa has supported Round Square activities beyond her 水多多导航 School, having undertaken Candidacy evaluation visits and 水多多导航 School hosted the 2019 Round Square Annual Regional Meeting.
